About
All who believed were together…and the Lord was adding to their number every day those who were being saved.
(Acts 2:42-47)
We are better together.
Together Church was birthed out of the merging of both VCo Church—a growing, life-giving church plant, and Rock Church—a decades-rich established church.
Vision
We see a unified people, formed by knowing God and transforming our community by making Him known — together.
Values
People are our why. Scripture is our anchor. Prayer is our center. Together we are better. Authentic is who we are. Humility is our posture. Generosity is our heart. Forward is our direction. Excellence is our expression. Sending is what we do.
Know God. Make God known—Together.
OUR MISSION
Our Story
Blare, Elise & Jensen
Pastors Blare and Elise Wood were married in December of 2011 and have one daughter. They've been in vocational ministry for over 14 years, most of those years spent serving the local church in various ministries at churches of all sizes - from small to megachurch and in-between. With over half of their ministry life spent serving in the greater Phoenix metro area, they have a deep love for the Valley.
After praying and fasting in Summer of 2022 about their future and next steps, God was calling the Woods to step out in faith and plant a church. "VCo Church," short for Valley Collective, was born out of a living room prayer meeting as we called on heaven with 15 other people who are passionate to see Jesus' Name made known in greater Phoenix. VCo Church launched with 200 people in January 2025 and saw 36 people surrender their hearts to Jesus in just that first Sunday.
While fundraising, Pastor Blare met with Pastor Dale Gray from Rock Church, asking him to consider prayerfully partnering with us as we planted. Instead of simply financially partnering, God was orchestrating something bigger. One conversation led to a bigger opportunity about two healthy churches merging as one.
In December of 2025, the Woods were officially voted in as the lead pastors of Rock Church, and now, two churches have become one - more together. We can't wait to see what God will do next as we have come underneath one new banner: Together Church.
Because together isn't just a feeling; it is our function.
